Free parking is available to all patients and visitors at the Lexington VA Medical Center. At the Cooper Drive Division Patients and visitors can park in the VA parking garage; the entrance is located on Veterans drive. At the Leestown Division there are several parking areas reserved for patients and Visitors.

DAV Transportation Program

Handicapped Visitors

Handicapped parking is available in the Cooper Drive Parking Garage and the rear of building 1 for over-sized vehicles. There are multiple areas throughout the Leestown Campus that offer handicapped parking.

Security

Lexington VA Police Officers provide 24-hour patrols of the facility and parking areas. For general police assistance, please dial (859) 233- 4511 ext 4444. At either campus, in case of an emergency, dial 4445; for Codes, dial 4500; and for Fire, dial ext 4500 At Cooper Drive and ext 3600 at Leestown. Report all suspicious or criminal activity, vehicle accidents, and personal property losses to the VA Police while on the facility grounds as soon as possible.

Free parking is available at our Somerset outpatient clinic.
