Lexington VA Medical Center to Host Access Stand Down

and Leestown Division at 2250 Leestown Road

(Lexington, KY) – The Lexington VA Medical Center will be holding an Access Stand Down to address both strengths and points of improvement regarding access to care for our Veterans in the Lexington and surrounding areas.

Clinical appointments in primary care, neurology, dermatology, mental health, sleep medicine, radiology, and dialysis will be available that day between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. by calling (859) 233-4511 ext. 5330.

Our goal is to decrease pending appointments in these areas that are greater than 30 days. Consistent with our mission to provide timely care to our nation’s Veterans, our priority continues to be improving access to the very best care. Veterans desiring an appointment on February 27, should call (859) 233-4511 ext. 5330.

Representatives with TRIWEST, the provider for the Veterans Choice Program for Lexington VA Medical Center will also be available during the Access Stand Down to assist Veterans and answer questions.

Walk-ins are welcome, too.
